Meetings have rotating facilitators and all decisions are made by consensus by the people in attendance.
We have no officers, only a treasurer. We have working groups that are led by experts and members that are passionate about the issue. One person one vote has sustained ACT UP for 33 years.
We are all-volunteer and have never accepted government, corporate, or pharmaceutical money. We raise our own funds through grants and donations.
Member Agreement
We ask members to contribute to the work, accept and promote the leadership of people most directly impacted by the AIDS crisis, and treat everyone in the group with respect.
Can you agree to these and participate in setting and abiding by meeting agreements at each meeting?
